Community Banking operates one of the most extensive banking franchises in the country, serving customers through approximately 6,000 branches and 13,000 ATMs in 39 states and the District of Columbia. Our group includes Business Strategy and Administration; Customer and Branch Experience; Customer Remediation Office; Distribution Strategy Group; Regional Banking; Regional Services; and Customer Segments, and serves mass market, affluent, and small business customers. Identifies, acquires, and grows new relationships with business customers who have annual gross sales of up to $5MM. Creates opportunities and partners with Regional Business Relationship Managers to discuss appropriate business products and services and onboard customers. Increases Wells Fargo relevance to customers and positions Wells Fargo Business Banking and product partners for new business opportunities through consistent marketing efforts and delivery of value added ideas. Partners with market leadership to develop strategies and to lead marketing efforts in a defined territory. Assists with processes including identification of new customers and customer acquisition prioritization, initial customer contact and follow up strategies, identification of products and services to meet customer's needs, proposal development, and overall management of new customer acquisition including onboarding.
This position will partner with Regional Business Relationship managers and other partners to ensure a smooth customer transition which consists of acquiring and onboard customers to the appropriate business relationship channel for ongoing management. Identifies additional product opportunities by developing partnerships with regional managers and product partners to deliver the full complement of Wells Fargo products and services. Represents Wells Fargo at community events. Prospective customers will be primarily self-sourced or come from external referral sources, including Centers of Influence. May also work with other partners such as retail branches, Private Bank, Wealth Management, Wholesale, and other bank partners to obtain additional opportunities to meet the customer's needs. The majority of time (70%+) will be spent engaging in outbound activities outside of the office. Responsible for all phases of the customer service and sales life cycle including lead generation, utilization of relevant systems, following applicable policies, leveraging product knowledge, assessing credit worthiness of prospects, and facilitating communication between the Regional Business Relationship team and customer.
This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction. Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below.
