Job Description
United States Steel Corporation, Tubular Products, has an immediate opening for an Account Manager located in Midland, TX. This position offers exceptional compensation, including incentives and an attractive benefits package.

Responsibilities include:
-Promote and sell tubular products to customers located primarily in West Texas.
-Maintain sales and increase sales to existing tubular customers.
-Understand and meet customer tubular products needs while optimizing U. S. Steel’s operating margin, inventories and shipping performance.
-Solicit prospective tubular customers through professional networking, technical presentations, conferences and cold-calling.
-Team with inside sales, operations planning, technical experts, pricing managers and producing facilities to develop and meet sales and business objectives, and assure customer satisfaction.
-Provide U. S. Steel with current information regarding market conditions, pricing and new product development and related business intelligence.

Requirements:
-Four-year degree preferably in business, but will consider other technical or engineering degrees or equivalent.
-5 years minimum work experience with Oil Country Tubular Goods.
-Computer literacy including experience in operating Microsoft Windows, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Excel and presentation applications.
-Proven track record of outside sales, building and maintaining positive customer relationships, employee development and mentoring.
