    Position Summary:

    The Business Development Associate is responsible for building positive and productive relationships with clients for the purpose of growing the business. The responsibilities include understanding client needs and managing client expectations for achieve profitability.

    Essential Functions:

    • Build positive and productive relationships with clients for business growth
    • Schedule regular meetings, discussions, teleconferences and visit client offices to strengthen the relationships
    • Understand client needs and customize existing business programs to meet their needs
    • Provide client support and handle client communications effectively
    • Manage client expectations to achieve profitability
    • Maintain existing clients and generate new clients to achieve revenue goals
    • Address client concerns promptly and professionally
    • Inform clients about company products, services and promotions
    • Discuss business contracts and cost with clients
    • Ensure that client requests are handled timely and accurately
    • Develop new strategies to improve client satisfaction
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the client’ portfolio, company products and services
    • Collect client feedback and act accordingly

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

    • Be available as needed for client meeting, calls and visits
    • Address client concerns promptly and professionally
    • Provide weekly operational updates as needed
    • Participate in monthly financial statement review meetings with clients
    • Follow-up on action items needed to address client’s needs
    • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
    • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
    • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
    • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
    • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
    • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
    • 3 -5 years of sales experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
    • Ability to work independently but within a strategic framework
    • Proven success at meeting sales goals
    • Good business acumen and market knowledge
    • Excellent sales planning, closing, prospecting and presentation skills
    • Motivation for sales and selling to customer’s needs
    • High energy level and professionalism
    • Travel up to 50%
