Lead Business Development team and execute strategic initiatives to further grow Presbyterian Healthcare service lines. The Business Development Director will report to the Senior Vice President of Hospital Operations, carrying out initiatives of growth and service line development. The director will lead the business development department, working through data driven decision making and give detailed insight into market dynamics.
*Lead business development team to achieve meaningful growth in key service areas, and delivering a comprehensive ROI analysis of team efforts
*Develop business development strategies, qualify new business opportunities, and customize approaches for specific targets.
*Apply rigorous analytical skills to interpret and clearly communicate findings
*Provide service line decision support by using internal and external data sources to provide insightful recommendations.
*Maintain up to date understanding of key service lines of Presbyterian and relay changes in market dynamics to senior leadership
*Collaborate with hospital CEO?s and organizational leadership to execute strategic growth initiatives
*Craft messaging that liaisons can take into the field to improve understanding of and focus on specialized level of care
*Work with medical group leadership, both internal and external, to help foster referral growth and create ease of access for current referral relationships.
*Conduct sales training for new hires
*Performs other functions as required.
Masters degree in Business or Health Administration or related field. Five years of experience in healthcare preferred. Requires in-depth knowledge of hospital strategy as well as service line and physician growth.
