    Summary:
    Responsible for retention of commercial members through daily account management, problem resolution, annual contract renewal and PHP/PIC endorsed underwriting and administrative guidelines. The Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for assigned brokers and employer groups for all service needs.

    The ideal candidate for this position must have at minimum of 5 years experience working in a health plan environment, with experience in retention and sales.

    Responsibilities



    *Sells and retains commercial membership in assigned territory at a minimum level of monthly quota.

    *Provide excellent service to customers and stakeholders using proven methods and processes supported by the Sales Department which include: continually search for ways to improve customer/client service; impress customers with exceptional service; seek feedback from customers; track performance against customer requirements; address customer needs by involving the right people at the right time and follow up to ensure problems are resolved; and effectively balance the interests of a variety of customers.

    *Maintain and develop comprehensive product and industry knowledge including knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations affecting insurance practices.

    *Effectively presents and communicates verbally and in written form to a wide variety of audiences. Express one-self to provide information to others effectively and recognize required communication styles.

    *Understand complex pricing models and comprehensive benefit structures.

    *Analyze market position to create specific strategies associated with service and retention of a specific book of business.<B

    Qualifications


    Insurance Industry knowledge, prefer 5 years of experience in the industry or a related field. NM State Insurance License required within 90 days of hire.
