Job Description

Position Summary


The Wholesale Business Development Specialist develops, grows, and maintains a wholesale client base while collaborating with our marketing team.





- Monday thru Friday (No Weekends)


- 7am to 4pm preferred hours





- Cold-call prospects and secures qualified new customers for our 4 wholesale divisions; utilizes range of tools to connect with prospective clients including voicemail, email and in-person opportunities


- Closes business deals through effective selling methods and negotiation and follows wholesale division standard operating procedures


- Researches and discovers new potential prospects and identifies decision makers for prospects


- Builds the relationship with new wholesale customers by setting up ordering processes and working closely with them to increase sales


- Maintains and calls current wholesale customers to grow sales within an established base


- Represents the company at 2-6 trade shows annually and during in-person meetings nation-wide


- Prepare professional and accurate proposals, as well as other documentation as required for executive-level presentations





- Minimum of one-year sales or marketing experience preferred


- Experience working with wholesale accounts is helpful


- Effective time and activity management skills; meets deadlines


- Goal oriented, results driven and motivated to close a sale
