Sales Manager- SD Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
AUTOMOTIVE SALES MANAGER
SD Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking to hire a Sales Manager responsible for displaying and maintaining new and used vehicle inventory. Managers also ensure customer retention by hiring, training and evaluating their sales staff to be customer focused. Additionally, Sales Managers strive to have their sales team meet daily, weekly and monthly to set vehicle sales quotas to ensure profitability. Sales managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
*Maintain a team of salespeople adequate to reach monthly business plan objectives.
*Review team productivity at each daily team meeting prior to your scheduled shift.
*Review Daily Work Plans; execute "one on one" meetings with each salesperson by initiating follow up of all unsold and sold customers through the CRM.
*Interact with clients on every transaction.
*Review inventory levels and merchandising of display and storage lots each day.
*Train, support and develop each salesperson so that they can maintain a 90 day average sales volume of 10 units.
*Work every transaction with accuracy, integrity, common sense, and transparency.
*Appraise every vehicle according to market conditions, and seek evaluation support if necessary.
*Collect ALL necessary documentation for each transaction to support its funding through the lender.
*Collect ALL necessary trade documentation including, but not limited to Titles, Registrations, and Payoffs.
*Follow all transactions originating through your sales team through the funding process.
*Verify that ALL transactions have the proper insurance coverage prior to delivery.
*Maintain a CSI score at or above the Honda Zone Average.
*Customer service, management, and automotive experience is required
*Vehicle sales managers should have two years of experience in automotive sales with a proven ability to sell a minimum quota set by dealership management.
*Additionally, the ability to manage and motivate salespeople is necessary.
*Managers are required to maintain the profitability and volume objectives of their department.
*Managers are required to not only understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local laws and regulations that affect their operations, but must also comply with these regulations and laws.
*Management personnel require strong communication skills to interact with customers, employees and vendors.
*A valid state sales and driver’s license is required.
* Possess a positive attitude.
