Currently we have a Director of Independent Agent Marketing available in our Life Division.   This opportunity is responsible for driving and overseeing independent sales, market research and product development for the Life Insurance Division.

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for independent sales and distribution growth including market research and product development.
  • Ensures quality of distribution and business submitted and takes appropriate action.
  • Provides oversight and professional development to the Independent Agent Marketing team
  • Establishes and controls methods to assure compliance with state and federal regulations, and legal and audit requirements.
  • Ensures effective customer relations with sales force through communications, problem solving, and servicing philosophy.
  • Establishes and implements short and long term strategies that align with the organizations business strategies and goals
  • Develops short to long term (1-5 years) plans for optimizing the organization, function, and the resources required to execute strategies in job areas. 

Minimum Knowledge and Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in creating, implementing and managing independent marketing activities and workflows.
  • Solid Project Management skills
  • Ability to analyze market research to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition.
  • Effective presentation skills with the ability to change direction when warranted
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, ability to develop others and build effective teams
  • Collaboration with marketing and actuarial on life product strategy
  • Experienced in strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
  • Requires in depth knowledge of state and federal insurance regulations.

 

Certifications and Licenses: FLMI, FALU, CLU or comparable designation required
