The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable in a private club setting and will play a critical role in promoting member and private event sales planning and execution as well as flexing their creativity to develop programming for our member social events.
Our Event Sales Director is responsible for seeking new business and contributing to and ensuring return business by delivering professional execution that meets the agreed obligations of the Club and clients. They also work with the Food and Beverage team and other departments to develop and execute new ideas for member events.
Critical components of this position include, but are not limited to monitoring business volume, labor, productivity and costs while forecasting and planning accordingly. Preparing detailed and accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEO). Leading weekly BEO meetings. Scheduling tours with prospective clients and meeting with new clients to detail their event. Contracts banquets, entertainment, catering and corresponding recreational activities. Ensuring the proper management of all catered events, including, but not limited to: greeting of client, event supervision, level of setup, table placement, buffet design, bar location, main meal service, sales and marketing, planning, merchandising, servicing and corresponding administrative procedures.
This position reports directly to the General Manager.
