Meyer Jabara Hotels in seeking an experienced, career-minded sales and marketing professional to work in the soon to open Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This dynamic individual must love to sell and will be directly responsible for securing new accounts with a focus on Corporate and Social Groups and Business Transient accounts. The Director of Sales will also be highly visible in the Fort Lauderdale market in order to le maximizing profitability and championing superior service levels.
The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers in order to achieve revenue goals. In addition to being directly responsible for their own base of group and transient accounts, the Director of Sales will lead the Marketing efforts of the hotel, working closely with the General Manager and Regional Revenue Manager while maximizing all applicable Brand revenue generation tools. The Director of Sales will be an active participant in all community networking opportunities, trade shows and sales blitz implementation. The Director of Sales will work closely with the General Manager to develop an on-going, proactive Business Plan to include budget preparation and will also be expected to be a leader in terms of customer service and developing new ideas to differentiate the guest experience.
