As a Strategic Sales Executive (SSE), you will serve as the business sales force within the Aetna Commercial Sales Segment. This is an excellent opportunity to interface with Executive Leadership both internally and externally. As a seasoned healthcare sales professional, you will use your years of expertise to grow our business by directly selling to prospective employers and benefit and pharmacy consultants. You will accomplish this through:

- Developing and executing upon a strategic plan to drive results
- Building relationships with senior level decision makers within the assigned region
- Selling the value of CVS Health without focusing on price and using analytical tools and resources to differentiate CVS Health in the market
- Leading finalist presentations
- Collaborating with internal departments to develop innovative solutions that provides a competitive advantage and positions CVS Health solutions in the market place

Your success as a Strategic Sales Executive will be driven by your ability to gain new business wins in your region. Your understanding of the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) and managed care environment as well as keeping up to date on market trends will enable you to position CVS Health programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers. The contributions you will make as a Strategic Sales Executive will position CVS Health for long term growth in the competitive PBM marketplace.

This position is located in the West region of the U.S. covering this territory and has the ability to work in a CVS Health Corporate Hub if you are near one. You must have ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Required Qualifications
* 3 years of PBM experience or 5 years of New Business Development experience in the Healthcare Industry

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in new business development in the PBM industry

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. HS Diploma/GED required
