Job Description
Place outgoing calls to patients to verify prescription orders, arrange shipments, and follow-up on patient issues. Communicate and build supportive relationships with team referral sources to obtain prescription, patient and physician information. Provide excellent customer service through the acceptance of incoming calls from patients and healthcare professionals, and assess customer needs for possible pharmacist intervention.

- Respond constructively to the needs of the customer by answering inquiries and providing information on pharmacy and company operations.

- Influence quality of care by assessing the customers’ needs and providing appropriate educational materials as well as referring patients to other departments when necessary.

- Act as a liaison between the pharmacist and the customer to ensure efficient and accurate service is provided.

- Perform outbound calls from work lists.

- Manage e-mails sent to special team distribution lists.

- Manage paper work for Special Team area.

Required Qualifications
- Provide a positive first impression for all new patients enrolling in the pharmacy.

- Collect appropriate information needed for new patient enrollment and document in SPARCS/HBS

- Communicate with health care professionals to obtain necessary information and provide feedback on status of patient’s medication and coverage. ·

- Communicate with patient regarding order status and possible information needed to resolve coverage issues

- Perform duties of a PSR I to ensure excellent customer service is achieved and company goals are met.

Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and
interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle escalated customer issues and defuses
irate customers through problem resolution.

- Attention to details and accuracy

- Strong problem resolution skills

- Sense of urgency to resolve customer issues

- Ability to make decisions and resolve issues.

High School diploma or equivalent.
