Job Description
This position requires independent and self directed performance as its primary function is to proactively outreach to patients on compliance reminder and ordering calls. In addition, this position requires a working knowledge of reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals and providing customer education, and routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist.

Required Qualifications
-1+ years of professional experience in a healthcare related position.
-Must be able to occasionally lift 25-50 lbs. during a shift.
-Must be able to sit or stand for duration of shift (8-10 hours).
-Must be able to reach and grasp objects at various levels.
-Must be able to utilize a keyboard and operate departmental machinery.

Preferred Qualifications
Must have knowledge of insurance and medical terminology and understanding of specialty product, supplies and services. Utilizes Specialty and other computer applications to communicate information, record data and process orders.

Education
H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Pharmacy Technician license/certificate based on specific assigned duties and State pharmacy requirements.
