Job Description
As a Patient Admissions Representative you will support the branch in managing new patient referrals to Coram/CVS services within a portfolio of referral sources.

You will:
* Manage incoming referrals from referral sources
* Perform quality check of all referrals to support seamless patient on-boarding experience
* Serve as first point of contact for patients within referral portfolio
* Serve as secondary point of contact for patients outside of referral portfolio
* Build and maintain effective and professional relationships with internal and external clients
* Work two weekend days per month in on-call capacity for all referrals to Coram/CVS services
* Coordinate requests for patient medical records by internal or external customers
* File, fax, and scan medical documents to appropriate departments

Required Qualifications
Minimum one year Healthcare Industry experience
Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Outlook, and Word
Exceptional phone etiquette
Minimum two years Customer Service experience
Willingness to work maximum of two weekend days per month

Preferred Qualifications
One year health insurance experience
Two Years Healthcare Industry Experience
Four Years Direct Customer Service Experience
Experience with Medical Terminology

Education
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.
