Job Description
The Patient Admissions Representative is responsible for activities relating to the admissions process for patient referrals.
Collects demographic and insurance information on patients and acts as the primary contact for new and existing accounts.
Investigates type and level of insurance coverage to assess patient eligibility for the program.
Communicates with medical professionals and insurance company personnel to expedite patient eligible into program.
Resolves reimbursement issues with accounts, sales force, and management.
Completes data entry in CPRS to ensure accuracy of reporting and outcomes.
Investigates data entry issues to correct data warehouse reports.
Enters initial patient delivery ticket with appropriate billing information.
Monitors computerized reports to avoid delays in customer billing information.
Confirms the timely resolution to un-voucherables. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**There will be rotating Saturdays from 9a-1pm with 1 day off during the week.**

Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of call center experience
- 1+ years of medical experience

Preferred Qualifications
Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
Strong service orientation and customer service attitude.
Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent detail orientation and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft business software.
Strong problem solving abilities, interpersonal, and PC skills.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Team focused.
Bachelor degree
Previous experience with benefits investigation and or insurance billing.
Pharmacy technician experience
Infusion background and or experience

Education
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.
