CVS Health is offering a unique opportunity to be part of an extremely talented team within CVS Specialty Pharmacy as a Benefits Verification Representative. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail oriented, highly focused, performance-driven individual with a background in pharmacy or the medical field and ready to take their career a step further.

As a Benefits Verification Representative, you will be primarily responsible for verifying insurance coverage for new and existing patients in order to process prescription orders in a timely manner while demonstrating excellent customer
service to patients, healthcare professionals, insurance carriers, and colleagues. This process also involves
additional efforts to ensure patient has access to the specialty therapy prescribed, such as obtaining coverage
determinations for prescribed specialty products, initiating prior authorization requests, supporting prescribers with
appeals processing, gathering and interpretation of supporting clinical documentation for approvals, and enrolling
eligible patients in financial assistance programs sponsored by manufacturers, foundations, and other community and
financial resources.

This role will require an understanding of specialty drug products, medical terminology, insurance coverage concepts, policies, and guidelines for drug cards, major medical benefits, per-diem coverage, as well as knowledge of government and patient assistance programs.

This is a full time position M-F, no weekends or holidays, offering full benefits, in addition to covered parking on site.

Required Qualifications
* 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
* 3+ months of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications
* Healthcare related experience, certifications and/or licensure
* Strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills
* Strong customer service skills exhibiting a courteous telephone etiquette, patience, and professionalism
* Ability to provide empathetic services to our customers
* Demonstrable responsiveness and reliability as attendance is an essential function of the position
* Team-oriented and the ability to work with others
* Self-directed and the ability to problem solve
* Ability to apply knowledge and skills learned in training
* A Bachelor's Degree

* Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
