As an Associate Account Executive, you will be responsible for both the strategic and operational/tactical needs of clients within our growth/consultant based coalition space. The Associate Account Executive is responsible for the assurance of overall satisfaction and retention of their clients, which directly impacts the continued growth and satisfaction of the overarching coalition. Core strategic responsibilities include management of all strategic client messages, opportunity analysis and consultation while recommending/promoting innovative healthcare solutions to enhance value to clients. Additionally, the Associate Account Executive leads and presents in person all periodic reviews of the client’s plan performance, including an annual and semi-annual RxInsights. These meetings will include client, coalition and consultant partners. This process includes upselling on products and various corporate initiatives. The Associate Account Executive works directly with the client aligned consultant and local coalition teams in an effort to provide pharmacy benefit consultation and to make key plan performance recommendations. The Associate Account Executive performs research and analysis leveraging reporting tools such as iTools and RxNavigator to evaluate client performance and member disruption, when needed.

As the Associate Account Executive you will effectively work independently and support new business implementations for critical clients. In this role, you will be required to demonstrate a high-level of quality client service through the execution of accuracy, responsiveness, reliability, integrity and professionalism on every interaction in a fast-paced operational environment. You will position yourself as a lead on larger account work activity and drive day-to-day client activities, which include managing the resolution status of routine to complex requests related to our clients’ benefit plans, setting up new plans, optimizing plan changes, analyzing complex problems, identifying root causes and assisting with driving practical and creative solutions. The Associate Account Executive is also expected to foster team work and collaboration with internal departments to ensure client needs and expectations are met. Average book of business is 8-12 clients totaling $20-60M, with direct influence and impact on Coalitions ranging between $100M and 2B in revenue.

In the role, you will be expected to travel up to 30%. Travel may require, but is not limited to flights, overnight stays, local travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the company

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in a strategic client/customer service based environment or in a previous Account Executive or Account Manager role
* 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Web applications

Preferred Qualifications
* 3-5 years of Account Management, Sales, Insurance Healthcare, Benefits or related industry experience
* Knowledge of Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) industry
* Experience working with multiple intranet and extranet systems, CRM, or adjudication platforms (AS400 system knowledge is a plus)

* Ability to exercise professional judgment in analyzing and resolving client issues
* Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and business correspondence
* Proven ability to lead, track and manage issues, ensuring the right teams are engaged
* Facilitate and conduct comprehensive and timely issue resolution and in-depth root cause analysis, where needed
* Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to work and lead in a team environment
* Ability to work independently in a fast paced and changing work environment with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines with a variety of responsibilities
* Ability to creatively solve problems when dealing with a multitude of variables where standard resolution does not exist
* Accountable for facilitating new plans and specific product implementations; including establishing and leading internal meetings to ensure collaboration and attention to detail throughout the process in order to meet expected timelines and quality standards.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Web applications
* Responsible for timely and accurate management and execution of all client benefit requests, including benefit changes, product upsells, new groups, and escalated issues.
* Motivation to continue to learn and grow within the organization.
