Job Description


Position is responsible for increasing business, attracting new business and identifying new customers bases.  Coordinate warehouse activities, including filling orders, delivering orders, set-up/installation of office furniture.  Will also work with Branch Manager to ensure proper inventories are ordered and available for prompt delivery to customers.

  • Ensures timely and accurate delivery of customer shipments using invoices

  • Installs/set-up customer office equipment and furniture

  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand anticipate and meet their needs

  • Prospecting for new clients and maximizing customer revenue potential

  • Developing and growing long-term relationships with new customers while maintaining and increasing established business

  • Receives proper count and physical inspection of merchandise based upon purchase orders received

  • Coordinates with Branch Manager to ensure adequate inventory is received and available for prompt customer deliveries, including short pick-up purchases

  • Manages deliveries to customers due any shortages or mistakes on original scheduled deliveries

  • Prepares warehouse inventory and processes returns

  • Responsible to maintain warehouse in full compliance with all Federal, State and local regulatory safety, labor, and workers’ compensation and health requirements

  • Responsible for controlling labor costs

This job operates in a warehouse environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


·         Must be able to remain in a stationary position 34% of the time.

·         Occasionally moves about the warehouse to access orders, supplies, etc.

·         Constantly operates heavy equipment

·         Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word.  Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.

·         Frequently moves material up to 50-75 pounds with little assistance.

·         Must be able to work indoor in uncontrolled conditions 66% of the time.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.



Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.



·         Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience

·         Must be computer literate

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel.



Must have High School diploma or Equivalent

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Maintain a valid Driver’s License and be insurable under the company insurance provider/program.
