ABM Industries Incorporated is one of the largest facility services contractors listed on the New York Stock Exchange. ABM provides janitorial, parking, engineering, and security services for thousands of commercial, industrial, institutional, and retail facilities in hundreds of cities across the United States and British Columbia, Canada. Job Overview: $9.50 per hour. Statewide. Some overnight travel may be required. Must have valid driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Variable shifts. Weekend work may apply. Summary of Job Duties: Skilled Floor Services All Floor Work Strip and Wax Buffing Weekly Schduled Work Monday-Friday Scrubbing Break Rooms Monday Friday Waxing Scheduled Floors Carpet Extraction Knowledge of all floor machines Safety procedures taping off area s, notiying supervisor s with any problems Proper use of all floor signs where needed Chemical use such as wax,stripper.snap back,J shop,carpet extraction solution Clean up of machines leave area in neat orderly fashion Safety wear PPE Essential Job Functions/Qualifications: 1. Must be able to clean 4,500 square feet per hour, which includes walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending and lifting. 2. Must have ability to work with other crew members and be able to take direction from Supervisor. 3. Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties. 4. Previous experience preferred but not required.
