Position Description:
UMR has a team of specialized Strategic Account Executives that act as subject matter experts in the area of Medical Management and Wellness Initiatives This team provides support for all Care Management products, including Utilization Management, Case Management, Maternity Management, Disease Management and Health and Wellness. This team works with the UMR SAE and facilitates everything Medical Management related for their book of business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Care Management Services (CMS) Strategic Account Executive (SAE) is Subject Matter Expert on all Medical Management products and services.
- CMS SAE is consultative on Disease Management and Health and Wellness implementation and strategies as well as incorporating wellness into the workplace.
- CMS SAE assists in new business finalist presentations and existing business up sell opportunities.
- Proactive and consultative on Medical Management products and services.
- Responsible for CMS issue resolution. This includes escalation, documentation, tracking and management of issues. CMS SAE responsible for managing risk situations.
- Review of plan performance data including participation, savings, satisfaction and activity.
- Provide plan recommendations regarding culture, incentives, plan language and communication.
- Subject Matter Expert on developing and implementing effective Wellness plans that meet client goals and expectations.
- Provide direction and consultation on Value Based Benefit Designs and develop customer roadmaps to achieving results.
- CMS SAE is PASSIONATE about WELLNESS!!!
- Engages problem solving to ensure the match between customer's core needs and UMR, identifies negative service trends and escalates/communicates as appropriate
- Provides support to implementation and renewal processes as necessary
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Performs other duties as required

Skills / Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years medical management experience
- Client relationship management and consultation experience
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- 25% travel required
- Life & Health license or the ability to attain within 60 days of employment.
Assets:
- Bachelor's degree is a plus.
