Job Description
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Southern Management K-12 has a Sales Manager position available in the Southwestern United States territory. This professional top-performer will be an organized self-starter who is able to work independently. This is not a management position; the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible in assuring profitable market growth through the procurement of new K-12 accounts selling Support Services. Ideally candidate will be based in Texas.
Responsibilities:
* New account sales, including total orchestration of the sales process: including but not limited to: Prospect identification, Prospect qualifying, Prospect contacts, survey organization an execution, proposal development and delivery and, closing and contract negotiations
* Administration, including straight account planning, administration expense control, territory management and reporting, budgeting, territory planning and call frequency
* Liaison with operations, including survey coordination, resale support when specifically approved by the Vice President and sales training for operations management
* Attends various conferences and trade shows
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
* Interested candidates should have a BA or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
* This position entails 75% travel within the territory
* Prior sales experience in the education/contract management industry
* Previous School Board Level Sales experience
* Computer literate
* High degree of personal accountability and integrity
* Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
* Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
* Consistently exceed sales quotas
* Cold calling, prospecting and discipline to develop markets
* Strong time management and territory development skills (multi-task ability)
* High energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills
