Ebix, Inc. founded in 1976, (NASDAQ: EBIX) is a leading provider of application software products for the insurance industry ranging from carrier systems, agency systems, exchanges to custom software development for all entities involved in the insurance and financial industries.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to fill the role of Sales Executive, in our BPO Division, with a multi-state responsibility.. This position offers a great opportunity for an individual to be a key driver of the process through ever developing teamwork, continuous improvement, and high productivity.

pecific Responsibilities:
* Directly selling Ebix software to Agencies, Brokers and financial organizations using a consultative solution sales approach
* Develop, manage, and grow a pipeline of qualified prospects
* Develop sales strategies and plans for each opportunity to close business
* Work with Ebix resources across functional areas and across business units to develop winning business ideas, demonstrations, and proposals
* Understand the prospect s buying processes and methodologies
* Travel throughout assigned territory to call on current and prospective customers
* Timely and comprehensive contact updates into the internal CRM sales system
* Effectively present/demonstrate Ebix software solutions to prospects
* Prepare RFPI/RFP responses, proposals, sales quotes, and all other written communications.
* Representation of Ebix at conferences, shows, and events
* Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Ebix, Inc. core values.
Qualifications:

Education: BA/BS Degree or four (4) years equivalent experience.

Required Experience:
* 3 to 5 years of direct software solution sales experience, preferable in the Insurance, Risk Management, and Financial Industry.
* Must have understanding of insurance industry.
* Self motivated with excellent time management skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook)
